Fix a broken version

Explain the error, fix it with AI, and know when to roll back instead.

Sometimes a change doesn't work: a version fails its checks, or the app shows an error in the preview. Here's how to get back to a working app quickly.

1. Read what went wrong

A broken version shows the first check that failed and its output. An error in the preview shows a banner with the error message. If it means nothing to you, click Explain for a plain-English answer. Explain is free.

2. Fix with AI

Click Fix with AI on the version, the preview error or the failed build. Appnetic gives the agent the exact error, so you don't need to describe it. The chat shows “Fixing: …” while it works, and the fix is saved as a new version.

3. Add context if it's not a crash

If the app runs but does the wrong thing, say what you expected and what happened instead. Attaching a screenshot of the screen and the preview's recent logs gives the agent much more to go on.

4. Roll back if fixes aren't landing

After 2 fixes in a row that don't produce a working version, Appnetic suggests going back to your last working version, and leads with Roll back to vN. Rolling back saves a new version, so you lose nothing, and you can ask for the change again in smaller steps.

Try it on a real app. The Free plan needs no card.
